The translucent wings on this dragonfly necklace are actually from a napkin with yellow lemons that has been treated with ice resin. <a href='http://www.booksmithstudio.com/artistic-creations/dragonfly-necklace-ice-resin/'>Read more on my blog, here.</a>
Tina taught me how to solder today, and I made these lovely charms.  I also learned (the hard way) never to touch the hot part of the soldering iron.  ;)

Now I need to buy all of the tools so I can make more of these!
Charms are 1 inch wide x 2 inches high.  I made these using my new glass cutting and soldering tools.  The images are vintage photographs and paintings, with dictionary definitions overlayed.<br /><br />

Top row: 'serenity', 'dawn', and 'vixen.'<br />
Bottom row: 'self-assurance', 'confidant', and 'wisdom'.
Every necklace is really two-in-one, as each side are different. <br /><br />

On the far right of the top row is my experiment with cutting the copper tape to a scalloped edge.<br /><br />
